Minimum 30 Day Warranty and up to 6 month Warranty!!!I'm now modifying the Hitachi 79 DVD drive that comes in the new Xbox 360s. This drive needs to have a modchip soldered on so that it can be flashed. Once I flash your Hitachi 79 I leave the socket you see in the picture below, this socket will allow the modchip to be easily taken on and off which will make it much easier to reflash the drive with future firmware upgrades.

Some new Xbox 360 are coming with the new Falcon Motherboard. This new motherboard should help not get the 3 red lights!!
Here is how you can tell if the Xbox 360 has a new Falcon Motherboard:
If you look into the right side of an Xbox 360 (through the grill), you can see the CPU heatsink. You will need a flashlight.
Notice the new one has fins that run horizontially. While the old one has a copper pipe, running from top to bottom.
